Lake Peyto is situated in the heart of Banff National Park Alberta in the Canadian Rockies. The area will remain open for winter use during 2019 and 2020. The construction work won't be happening through the winter and the Banff National Park website did say the Peyto Lake viewpoint would be open again come winter.
